Bespoke Embroidery

When I sew I feel connected to a long line of women, working cloth to make practical and beautiful things. It starts with my mum and aunties, and reaches back through my grandmas into the distant past.

I take on all sorts of commissions to turn your clothes and cloth into items that will be treasured, and kept and used for years to come. I have worked on items for the setting of a beautiful table, like tablecloths and napkins, on bedlinen, accessories, and embellishing existing garments both for adults and children. I also take on commissions for items to be framed as keepsakes, such as new baby samplers and other artwork.

I like to incorporate elements of sewn calligraphic script, and love designs inspired by nature, such as insects, plants and vegetables.
